The catalogue accompanied the exhibition Jona Frank: Model Home, on view at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art from February 24 through June 4, 2022. The exhibition built on artist Jona Frank’s Cherry Hill project, launched in its first phase through Cherry Hill: A Childhood Reimagined. Jona Frank, a noted photographer is known for her sensitive exploration of young people beginning to discover themselves and to assert their own sense of identity. The fully-illustrated book contains photographs from Franks career, visual explorations of the process and behind the scenes collaborations, and accompanying essays from contributing writers. It is divided into three parts: Suburbia, Persona Performance Purpose, and Family Stories. Contributors include Laura Dern, Jori Finkel, Jona Frank, Anne Collins Goodyear, Alex Kalman, Arthur Lubow, Dorothy Moss, Aleix Pons Oliver, Hanna Rosin, and D. J. Waldoie.
